The Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION, a ‘shooting brake’ style coupe that is almost certain to go into production by 2010
Mercedes-Benz will be showing its new ConceptFASCINATION design study at the Paris Motor Show next month. According to a press release from Mercedes, ‘This unique vehicle, whose innovative and unconventional proportions interpret the emotional appeal of a coupé in a new way, represents an exciting and intelligent combination of sporty and elegant design with stylish practicality.’
The Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION uses high-end materials in the cabin – wood, aluminium and smoked glass – and the large luggage compartment incorporates things like a refrigerated bin and a humidor. And the stylish exteriors hint at what the next E-class is going to look like.
Like the CLS Vision concept that was shown a few years ago (which later went into production as the CLS four-door coupé), we’re quite sure the ConceptFASCINATION is also destined for production. By 2010, we’re sure this car will be in Mercedes-Benz dealerships worldwide…
