Honda has announced that it will launch a ‘crossover’ version on the Accord sedan – the Accord Crosstour – in the US, by the end of this year. The company will announce more details on this car over the next few weeks.
The sedan-estate-notchback-hatchback crossover seems to be the latest fad, as evinced by the recent BMW 5-series Gran Turismo. BMW is now said to be working on a similar 3-series GT, while Audi recently released pics of the A5 Sportback ‘crossover,’ which should also be out soon.
We suppose we’ll be seeing many more of these so-called crossovers over the next few months, till the time car designers and manufacturers find the next fad…
