A 426bhp V8 muscle car is just what you need when you're 101 years old...
At an impressive 101 years of age, Virgil Coffman is not only alive and kicking, he’s also buying and driving muscle cars. ‘I don't care if you're 100 or 50 or whatever you are. If you want something get it. Drive it. That's what I figure,’ says the Illinois, US-based Coffman, who recently bought a V8-engined, 426-horsepower, bright yellow Transformers Edition Chevrolet Camaro.
‘The best thing about it is the handling – the way it runs, it handles easy. They rebuilt this Camaro all over and it's a nice car. They really did a good job on this. If they do all their cars like this one they're going to come out in good shape,’ says Coffman, speaking about his Camaro and about General Motors.
Coffman, who’ll be 102 years old in January 2010, hasn’t actually seen any of the Transformers movies, but says that the Transformers Edition Camaro is ‘cool.’ Amen.
