The four-door Panamera sedan could be one of Porsche’s most successful cars ever, with 10,000 units having been sold since the car’s global launch three months ago. The 10,000th Panamera, which recently rolled off the production line at Porsche’s Leipzig plant, is due to be delivered to a customer in Singapore.
The 4S is the most popular model in the Panamera range, accounting for 44% of sales, while the Panamera Turbo and Panamera S account of 36% and 20% of the sales respectively. Porsche plans to build 20,000 units of the Panamera per year.
Fitted with a 4.8-litre V8 engine, the Porsche Panamera is also available in India, with prices ranging between Rs 1.44-2.05 crore.
