Hyundai i40 might come to India in 2012
Hyundai has announced that its new D-segment car for Europe will be called i40. Codenamed ‘VF’ during its development period, the all-new i40 will spearhead the next phase of Hyundai’s brand and product evolution in Europe. The car will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2011 and according to the Korean company, the i40 has been designed to ‘further shift European consumer perception of Hyundai to a more aspirational position, thanks to the vehicle’s dynamic design and class-leading quality, performance and technical features.’
The Hyundai i40 will first be launched in estate form, followed by the saloon version a few months down the line. We expect the i40’s saloon version to be launched in India towards the end of 2011 or by early-2012.
